We've been in one of those funks lately where things seem to be out of control here at the Niederhausers. We've been struggling with things such as: not saying please and thank you, getting dressed without WWIII, and we've had a bad case of the "gimmies" every time we go to the store, just to name a few. Typical kid stuff but it's been driving me CRAZY! And my threats to cancel Christmas seem to have fallen on deaf ears. My answer? Santa Message 2U. The most brilliant iPhone app yet. You record whatever message you would like and it plays back in Santa's voice.
We've only done it twice and the girls both clued right in. The first message seemed to whip them into shape, specifically when he mentioned their wrongdoings. The second was more positive, recognizing the good things they've been doing. We may or may not win parents of the year for doing this, but for the love... it's been working so WAHOO!!!

Matt's cousin came up with that app! We haven't tried it yet, but sounds like we need to because we are having similar problems.....i HATE the gimmies at stores, Jack has actually been asking me to ask people what present they are getting him. I'd like to tell him he's getting nothing because he's spoiled rotten!! We are definitely dealing with our fair share of naughtiness around here. Good luck with your darlings!
