Really, it is. After receiving a quote from a local Christmas light company to put lights on our house for over A THOUSAND DOLLARS, we decided that maybe we would wait one more year to splurge on that little bit of festiveness. The problem was however, Romy talked daily about wanting colored Christmas lights on our house. "Red ones, purple ones, pink ones, all the pretty colors mommy." For whatever reason putting them up ourselves was not an option (according to Mason). So instead we would make due with some lighted garland on the door and the Christmas tree in the window (sigh, poor us, I know).
But as we drove onto our street late last weekend, but what to our wondering eyes did appear, but our little house with colored lights, oh dear! Mason accused me of being the mastermind and I accused him, but alas, neither could take credit. We woke Romy up and she seemed to think it was all a dream. Someone had mysteriously put lights on our house while we were gone. Lucky for us we have Mason's brother Tanner living with us, who just happens to have one of the biggest hearts around and knew how happy it would make his little 3 1/2 year old niece (and .... sister-in-law too!). Romy talks about them daily and can't wait to turn them on each night. Thanks to T-Bone for making this Christmas a little more magical!

We have one lone tree with red and white lights on it...Marci says we are the embarressment of the neighborhood. At least we don't have a million blow-ups on our lawn! Oooh...I hope that doesn't offend anyone!
