Independence Day

Well I think we did almost every traditional 4th of July activity one can do- and it was great!!! We started the festivities with fireworks in Logan with my parents and sis and hubby on the 3rd.

Then Mason and the girls met me after the Blacksmith Fork Freedom Run for a chuck wagon breakfast in Hyrum. Gotta love the cold pancakes + cold butter + greasy bacon! And then it was off to Kaysville with Nieder's for what I think is the best parade around!

Otter Pop with Papa.

And then to Mimi and Papa's for a BBQ and a homemade slip 'n slide!

Saturday Mason's dad entered two of his cars into the Cache Valley Cruise-In so we stopped by there to say 'hi' and then spent the rest of the afternoon at the Logan Aquatics Center. Despite their lack of schedule and sleep, the girls did AWESOME all weekend (okay, minus two minor meltdowns) and are recovering nicely. Happy 4th of July everyone!

I know and the meltdowns from my family came from my husband, not my children----;) THANKS though we had FUN......

Looks like fun...hope the melt-downs were bearable. It's hard after a long day!

Hey are you coming to the reunion? I can't wait to see you again. We need more play days!
