Swimming Lessons

Well we completed our first attempt at swim lessons and overall I think it was a success! Most of the time it was love-hate- we loved the idea of going to swim lessons but when we actually arrived and Rome realized I would be leaving, well then she began to hate it. She did great though and now puts her face in the water, floats on her back, swims with no hands holding her and jumps off the diving board. On the last day of class the parents got to come watch and after Romy jumped in the first time she said, "Mom, did you see that?" She was so excited to show off her skills!

Look closely at her face and you'll see her bottom lip extended. She tried so hard not to cry on her way to the diving board.
